Hello Beautys X Iv just arrived back in England, from my trip home to South Africa, and i have to tell you it was GLORIOUS! The sun, sand, sea, and wine (lots of wine), was exactly what i needed. I packed all the foundation, concealers etc that i could possibly need , for every situation i could find myself in (high coverage to sheer to matte) but the only thing i used for the entire trip was the best sunscreen for that glow that i need – The Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid Glow SPF 50.
We all are fully aware at this point in life, about the absolute need for sunscreen. Come rain or shine, you need to layer your skin with sun protection cream – So whether i am under the cloud covered skies of England or the sunny skies in (South) Africa, sunscreen is a must for me. I was looking for one that had a high SPF (this is SPF 50), layered well with other products and provided that subtle “lit from within” glow and if it provided light cover, that would be a bonus. I literally found it all in this product.

Everyday in SA was beautiful, sunny and balmy, which meant alot of outdoor activities including going up iconic Table Mountain, walking along the beach and loads of vineyard visits (couldn’t let our friends leave the country without visiting some of the best vineyards in the world;)). As fabulous as the sunshine was, we needed the sunscreen and on holiday especially, i want sunscreen that gives glow and some cover but is very lightweight. Check out the lightweight consistency of this Garnier UV Glow here. When you are on vacay, moving about alot, you dont need anything that will clog your skin and cause breakouts etc and this is where this product shines. I have very sensitive skin and had absolutely no breakouts /adverse reactions with this sunscreen. On the contrary, this product gave my skin a very pretty, subtle glow, light coverage, high sun protection and a smoothening effect.

How to use
My favorite bit – painting my face 😀 I start off double cleansing and layering my absolute must have daily skincare products. Let each product dry/absorb into your skin before layering another over that. To find out exactly which products i use and how to use them read my previous post:) You will be amazed at how much smoother/clearer and healthier your skin can get with these products (even my pores are smaller which iv been struggling with for ages).
After layering on the skincare, ending with my moisturiser (im now using the Tatcha dewy cream), i apply a few squiggles (is this a word?), on my forehead, cheeks and chin area and massage into my skin using my hands. This sunscreen is such a fantastic consistency which allows for it to easily glide on your skin and absorb quickly and without any streaks etc. It leaves a beautiful, natural looking glow to your skin with the lightest layer of cover that smoothes and evens out the skin texture. Once iv layered the sunscreen, i add my contour (love the stick from winky lux), my blush (charlotte tilbury is fab), highlighter (also Charlotte Tilbury) and the rest of my makeup. I was living my best glowed up life in Cape Town haha. I must mention that this is also now my everyday go to routine. It looks good but is also great for your skin (health).
I hope this gives you a nudge to try this and let me know what you think:)
Enjoy the rest of the week and have a fab weekend beauties.
Love, Arita XO
